Harvard Kennedy School selects SharePointLMS as their new LMS (Learning Management System)

The Harvard Kennedy School of Government (HKS) has chosen SharePointLMS as their new LMS platform to deliver their courses and training modules to their students online. SharePointLMS has been developed to run on the highly successful Microsoft Office SharePoint Server which has generated over $1 billion in revenue last year and continues to rise past that total this year.

HKS has signed an agreement with ElearningForce, the developers of SharePointLMS to deliver the LMS software as well as to develop custom software to complement the LMS. The agreement will last for a minimum period of 5 years and will provide HKS with the LMS Software as well as the ElearningForce suite of Rapid Authoring Tools for Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Office PowerPoint.

ElearningForce President for North America, Mr Paul Andringa, said: “We are extremely excited to have signed this agreement with the prestigious Harvard Kennedy School of Government and believe that it will be mutually beneficial for both our organizations and the future development and direction of SharePointLMS. Having such close cooperation with HKS will benefit not only HKS and ElearningForce but in that respect all other Education establishments using SharePoint.

The Associate Dean and Chief Information Officer at HKS, Don Oppenheimer, said, “We are looking forward to working with ElearningForce to develop a new courseware platform to support the teaching and learning in our classrooms.”
