ISO 27001 is a recognized, global standard for risk management and information security. With a recommendation from the ISO/IEC accreditation body the Learn365 product and company has been elected to receive the ISO 27001 certification for its ongoing commitment to protecting company, end-user, and partner data through effective information management.

Information security and regulatory compliance are among the top concerns for modern corporations, as reported by Gartner. Learn365 understands the growing importance of having secure systems for operating online and across borders, and have thus, continued to expand in how we safeguard our organization’s data and information.

Learn365 is Committed to Security and Compliance

The Learn365 team is thrilled to be recognized and recommended to become ISO 27001 certified by the ISO council themselves. This recommendation highlights the continued progress and growth Learn365 has made—both in our organization and in our product design—towards ensuring internal and external operations are well secured, maintained and safeguarded.

This ISO 27001 recommendation highlights our progress with developing a work culture that embodies responsible information security management. I believe this also highlights our commitment to building a culture of trust; knowing that we can trust our employees to keep company data safe due to their security trainings, just as they trust us with their personal information because of our safeguarded systems, and much like our end users and partners trust us to secure their assets and communicate this clearly through GDPR standards. For us, security and trust go hand in hand.”

Flemming Blåbjerg, Head of Digital Transformation & Compliance, Zensai

Zensai has four strategic themes that help shape and guide us in operating with the upmost integrity and efficiency. One of the highest priorities at this strategic level is trust, specifically in the way we build, maintain, and protect our platform by investing in information security tools and executing compliant processes.

With an unwavering motivation to evolve with the industry, Zensai looks forward to receiving the stamp of approval from the ISO/IEC 27001 body showing that our product—and company as a whole—is aligned with the higher levels of information security necessary for modern times.

What This Means for Customers and Partners

Originally published in 2005—and revised many times since — the ISO/IEC 27001 standards were put forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). ISO 27001 is an international standard for establishing, implementing, operating, reviewing, and continually improving an information security management system or ISMS.

To be recommended for the ISO 27001 certification, an organization must pass an audit conducted by the accredited body. In addition to meeting the many information security standards, Learn365 received high marks from the ISO body based on our ability to:

  • Provide customers with the highest level of security for customers data based on international known standards
  • Grow a mindset of security and risk assessment within Learn365 in all processes, discussions, and decisions
  • Strengthen partnerships through known and well proven practices within Information Security Management
  • Comply with legal regulation and keep employees informed and up to date on changing policies

Zensai’s Expanding Dedication to Security

The ISO 27001 certification will add an extra badge to Learn365 ’s growing list of celebrated commitments to security. The Learn365 app is verified by 3rd party security experts, Veracode, receiving their highest level of application security, Veracode Verified Continuous. The Verified seal Learn365 has received from the security team means that our systems have been shown to be free of vulnerabilities with healthy, secure development processes.

After being named as a Microsoft Preferred Solution, Learn365 pushed further and received the necessary validation to become a Microsoft 365 Certified App; a certification awarded after reaching the highest level of security and compliance required by Microsoft.

“With our Veracode partnership, Microsoft accreditations, and now ISO recommendation, Learn365 is expanding how we support and protect our organization with trusted methods for optimal information security. In this way, our product, partners, users, and employees all receive the same level of security, something we are very proud to deliver”

Flemming Blåbjerg, Head of Digital Transformation & Compliance, Zensai

The ISO 27001 certification will add an extra layer of support for not only users of our digital learning platform but will also help keep internal employees and external partners more secure in their day-to-day work.

On the Road to ISO 27001 Certification

After receiving positive feedback from the two-stage audit process, Zensai is on its way to becoming ISO 27001 certified. Though ISO 27001 certification is not mandatory, Zensai finds it critically important to implement and operate within the highest standards of information security management as set out by the ISO/IEC boards.

Zensai continues to prioritize the security and safety of our employees, users, and partners by pursuing the ISO27001 certification and implementing the trusted methods and processes.
